We were invited to attend the Madeley village celebrations, which we accepted as a fabulous opportunity to get out and get chatting to people about British flowers! Together we put together our little stall and headed out with jam jar posies and market bunches destined for Jubilee party tables! We had a wonderful day chatting and sharing our journey into flower farming.
Now we're home and back to jobs! We went off tying in the sweetpeas who are romping away. Tying in is so important (time consuming...) if you want lovely straight stems. Many visitors today commented on them and wanted tips for getting these little beauties here a little earlier!
Whilst I write and thinking about classes and getting people closer to the action here at Park Lane Flowers. I will very soon be advertising our first early summer class so keep your eyes peeled!
