Setting out....... on the Internet!

Today saw the launch on our website. This is a big deal for us as we're not that tech friendly! With a rather large helping hand from Joe at Eccleshall Web Design we have made it! Lots for me to learn, but I'm certainly on the right track. So apart from celebrating this little win, I'm sitting here reflecting over the day and writing my first blog.

It's been a busy one. Another no dig bed put in place by Matt, more planting out, cutting for orders, watering, weeding, receiving instruction from Joe on how to manage our new site! Things have probably got ahead of us, like the weeds! But we keep pushing forward to make sure our harvest ahead of us is a success. Still lots to plant out. Our Dahlias are looking splendid, but so ready to be out and so they can romp. Really feel I'd like to sneek in a very late direct sow of hardy annuals too. Biennial sowing is just round the corner so we'll put in a dedicated bed for these beauties, my zinnias still haven't made it out of the seed packet... Tomorrows job!

On my evening walk about and water I found this person pictured above. A self sown corn flower. A complete stunner. Must be a cross between the blue cornflower synonymous with cornflowers and a lilac one I grew last year, and wasn't that fond of. This one however is a knock out. The wonders of nature!

Just to finish my first blog post with a big thank you to my Mum, pictured here working away on table centre's for a very special party at the Dorothy Clive Garden last weekend. The flowering season is ramping up for us now, and I couldn't do it without the help and support from my very special Mum xx
